SEP 3: COURT SQUARE MUSIC CONCERT SERIES

MOUNTAIN VIEW. 2-3 PM. Join Ozark Folk Center musicians and folks for an outdoor concert on the Court Square in Mountain View on first Sunday of every month through out the fall season.

SEPT 4-9: TRI-COUNTY FAIR

AUG 25-26: 33RD ANNUAL FRISCO FESTIVAL

ROGERS DOWNTOWN. Frisco Festival has been delighting people from all over for more than 2 decades.

AUG 18-19 MOUNTAINS, MUSIC AND MOTORCYCLES

MOUNTAIN VIEW-STONE COUNTY COURTHOUSE - 10-am-10 pm. One of a kind event with biker games, poker run, bike & car show, prizes, live music and good food. Something for the whole family.

AUG 15: 15TH ANNUAL TASTE OF THE TOWN

WEST MEMPHIS. SOUTHLAND PARK GAMING & RACING. 6-9 PM. Local restaurants, chefs, and caterers bring their specialties for tasting! Live music, food and socializing.

AUG 9: WILD WOMEN WEDNESDAY

LITTLE ROCK. PINNACLE MOUNTAIN STATE PARK. 6-8 PM. Join a park interpreter and Central Ark Master Naturalists for a ladies' hike on one of the park's great trails!

AUG 12: EUREKA SPRINGS GRAN FONDO

EUREKA SPRINGS - 6:30 am-4:30 pm. Event has a 21 mile, 58 mile and 100 mile options. Finish is in downtown Eureka Springs. Bring your family.

AUG 10-12: 41ST HOPE WATERMELON FESTIVAL

HOPE-FAIR PARK. 9 AM- 9 PM. Hope is the home of the world's largest watermelons with 3 Guinness World Records.  Watermelon eating contest, seed spitting. giant melon auction and more.

AUG 5-6: HOORAY FOR HERPS WEEKEND

LITTLE ROCK-PINNACLE MOUNTAIN STATE PARK. Park interpreters host hikes, crafts, games and talks about Arkansas's native reptiles, including opportunities to meet live animals up close!  FREE!

AUG 7-12: 124TH OLD SOLDIERS REUNION

MAMMOTH SPRING STATE PARK. 5-10 pm. Carnival rides, games, prizes, food and bingo. Free access and parking.

JUN 5-JAN 13: STORIES OF THE AMERICAN DREAM

Springdale. Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. 10 am-5 pm. Program by current and former DREAMers of Northwest Arkansas Community College, composed of students brought into the U.S. without documents as children and the allies who support them.

JUN 2-SEP 19: CARLOS LUNA EXHIBITION

Fort Smith Regional Art Museum. 11 am- 6 pm. Contemporary Cuban-American painter, sculptor, print-maker and ceramicist. Exhibit features more than 50 works of this prolific artist.

Springdale. Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. 10am-5pm. A photo exhibit exploring Springdale's first commercial district, from heyday to decline to present day rejuvenation.

MAY 11-SEP 9: JUSTIN BRYANT ART EXHIBITION

Pine Bluff. Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas. 10 am-5 pm.  Artist Justin Bryant explores the theme of buildings built by enslaved workers to which they were denied access once construction was complete.

MAY 6 - OCT 21: MONTGOMERY CO. FRONT PORCH STAGE

Mount Ida. The Front Porch Stage. 7-9 pm every Saturday evening from May into October. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy family friendly music.

MAY 6 - SEPTEMBER: LITTLE ROCK FARMERS MARKET

Little Rock, Rivermarket Pavilions. 7 am-3 pm. May 6th is opening day! For more than 4 decades, the Market has been a local destination favorite, filled wtih farm-fresh produce.

APR 15-SEP 30: DINOSAURS -- FOSSILS EXPOSED

Jonesboro. Arkansas State University Museum. Exhibit explores the bones & fossils of giant creatures that once roamed the Earth.  6 full-scale replicas of dinosaur skeletons, including a triceratops, tyrannosaurus rex, and velociraptor. 

APR 6-SEP 4: ARKANSAS TRAVELERS BASEBALL

North Little Rock. Dickey-Stephens Park. 7-9:30 pm.  70 home games every season, always something fun going on. Funday Monday. Zoosday Tuesday, $1 Hot Dog Wednesday, Theme Night Thursday, major promotional nights on Friday and Saturday.
